What can I do with fresh picked strawberries?

When you first get fresh strawberries gently wash them and dry them. Then place them in the refrigerator. Strawberries go bad quickly. If you would like you can freeze them right after you wash them, then you can add them to smoothies. So take a look at the recipes listed up above to see which one you would like to try out.

How should I store strawberries?

The best place is to keep them is in a cool spot like your refrigerator or you can freeze them and store them in baggies in your freezer. When you freezing your strawberries, lay them on a cookie sheet not touching. This way each one is individually frozen and easy to remove for storing in a baggie. If storing in your fridge keep them in a shallow container with air flow. Strawberries mold easily, so you want to keep them cool and dry.
