Skillet Vegetable Chicken Teriyaki in Minutes

September 14, 2017 Amy Leave a Comment

This skillet vegetable chicken teriyaki post is sponsored by the Seeds of Change simmer sauces. All opinions expressed are my own.

Do you love chicken Teriyaki, but hate all the work that goes into making it?

What about all the weird ingredients in prepackaged mixes?

I am so happy to find Seeds of Change® Simmer Sauces to help me with my dinner plans.

Vegetable Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients for skillet vegetable chicken teriyaki

1 package Seeds of Change Sesame Ginger Teriyaki
1 lb chicken cubed
1 onion finely chopped
1 bag frozen broccoli
10 baby carrots
2 stalks celery finely chopped
1 clove garlic
1/2 lime squeezed
spray oil

Directions how to make vegetable chicken teriyaki

Start by cooking the chicken in a hot skillet liberally sprayed with oil. Cooke the chicken for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

Once the chicken is most cooked, add the onions and cook for one minute. Next add the broccoli and cook for three minutes. Then add the garlic, carrots and celery and cook for one minute or until celery is translucent. Keep stirring occasionally.

Lastly cut open the Seeds of Change simmer sauce and pour over the entire dish. Then cook for five more minutes stirring occasionally to evenly coat all the veggies and chicken. Right before serving add a squeeze of lime over the top. This is my secret cooking tip to make it taste just like the restaurants.

Feel free to serve over rice. This was so much food we did not need to add any rice and just ate it with chicken and veggies. The vegetables add so much flavor to enhance the meal. The kids loved this dish.

Break Your Eating Rut

Vegetable chicken teriyaki in minutes

We had been an eating rut for the past few weeks. I needed to change things up a bit. It is the start of school, and my energy is drained getting back in to the school routine. Fixing dinner needs to be quick and easy and healthy. I love the Seeds of Change an organic seeds and food brand. The new organic simmer sauces make me feel good about serving these to my family.

There are four different sauces to choose from to inspire easy, tasty and healthy meals.  Sesame Ginger Teriyaki, Taco Roasted Chipotle, Mushroom and Sweet and Sour sauce are from world’s most popular sauces created with the finest Certified Organic ingredients. Seeds of Change is launching its organic simmer sauces at Target, Meijer, Albertsons, Publix, Harris Teeter and Price Chopper for under $4 a pouch. Dinner can be made in minutes with these easy simmer sauces. What a great deal for a tasty meal in minutes. I can’t wait to pick up more to create more great dinners.

What is your busiest night to fix dinner?
