We had a blast at Sea World San Antonio and the Aquatica water park while at AdventureCon 2013 Conference. It was great time for a conference, since we had already planned on spending a week in the Hill Country area of Texas.
This conference was different than any other I had been to before. I love how Sea World thought of my whole family to be involved in the conference. While I was learning my family was able to do fun crafts and they also met a few animals up close.
Sea World Loves Their Animals
We learned how Sea World takes great care of their animals at the park and also has a great program for rehabilitating injured animals found in the oceans. If the animal can be released back into the wild after receiving medical attention, they will release them. However if they feel the animal is in danger and cannot fully function back into the wild they will keep them in a facility at a Sea World park. Before the One Ocean Show with Shamu there is a video about Sea World’s attention to care for their animals.
How to Enjoy Sea World With Older & Younger Children
Since we have a large gap between the kids, we would tag team and one adult would go with the older one while one adult and would stay with Little Face and the other older child. I think we all enjoyed this method, since we got a little one on one time with everyone and we all had fun.
If you are going to Sea World plan on spending at least two days. There is so much to see and do, especially if you are going to Aquatica Water Park. One day for this park alone. We ended the evening watching the Sol Celebration preformed as the park’s closing ceremonies. The entry way is all lit up and there is a stage were people are performing. This was a really fun show.
Sea World allowed me to purchase tickets at a discount for me and my family to attend this conference along with meal tickets. We enjoyed this as not only a conference but great family time too. Thanks Sea World for allowing us to make family memories we will cherish for always.

We also have to split up at amusement parks because my daughter likes roller coasters and my son doesn’t.
