Creating a burlap wreath is not difficult and can take less than an hour to make. This easy craft is even for the non crafty person. Trust me if I can do this easy craft so can you. Jam Paper sent me burlap ribbon and red bakers twine to show you how to make a burlap wreath with wire. You can find all the supplies for this project on Jam Paper & Envelope website. I have also included links to each of the items to purchase.

Easy Burlap Ribbon Wreath

How to Make a Burlap Wreath With Wire

1 roll burlap ribbon

2 rolls white chevron burlap ribbon

1 ball red bakers twine

1 wire clothes hanger.

Directions for Making a Burlap Wreath

Open Hanger for Wreath

1. With the wire clothes hanger bend the top down and unwind the top. Now it is open you can shape it into a circle. There is no need to be perfect. No one will be able to tell. If you just need it to be circular find a large round platter and shape the clothes hanger around the platter.

2. Next take your burlap ribbon and start feeding it on the hanger. Alternate with the chevron pattern ribbon and the regular burlap ribbon back and forth. No need to measure here. Just try to keep the length used consistent. The randomness really helps create the fullness of the wreath.

3. Now you have the burlap base of the wreath, it is time to jazz it up a bit with some peppermint berries using the red bakers twine.

Make bakers twine balls

Simply wrap the red bakers twine around two of your fingers about 50 times to make a nice full berry. Tie one knot really tightly through the loops. Make this string long enough to tie to the wreath.

Tying Bakers Twine

4. Select a few locations around the wreath. to place the berries. A decorating rule of thumb is to keep the number of red berries odd. What do you think? Easy and simple right? I am so thrilled how this simple burlap wreath turned out. It only took about an hour to make.
