Dallas Arboretum Angels in DeGolyer

Angels at DeGolyer Dallas Arboretum

The angels are at the Dallas Arboretum. The Angels in DeGolyer is a collection of 500 beautiful angels displayed throughout the DeGolyer mansion at the Dallas Arboretum. The angels are from the Dallas Pi Beat Phi Alumnae Club. These will be on display until Dec. 31. While there you can purchase tickets for a three course holiday tea from 11am – 2pm seven days a week for ages 12 and older at the Restaurant DeGolyer. Find out more information about the Dallas Arboretum holiday tea.

Trains at Northpark

Trains at NorthPark

The Train are back once again at Northpark. There are many model train scenes set up. The center have train displays from around the country including the White House. Along the back wall are scenes set up around Texas and Dallas. All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House. This is one of the places to visit in Dallas every Christmas time for my family. Start your family traditions at the Trains at NorthPark. Find out more information on times to visit the Trains at NorthPark and how to donate.

Dallas Galleria

Dallas Galleria at Christmas time

Did you know the tree at the Dallas Galleria is the largest indoor tree in the United States? Also did you  know more people skate around the tree at the Galleria than at the skating rink in Rockefeller Center during the holidays? The Galleria has so many shops and restaurants to enjoy an entire day of shopping. Have a visit with Santa and enjoy all the little windows with wonderful moving scenes pictured above. This really helps the wait in line more enjoyable. We all love the little scenes along the way. Find out more information about visitation hour for Santa at Galleria Dallas.

Christmas in the Square in Frisco

Looking for a fun night to see the lights with the kids? Enjoy the Lights of Frisco. Beside looking at the amazing dancing light show, there are also many things to do there. There is a real ice rink where you can rent skates and skate outside and listen to Christmas music. Plus there are many shops to visit to purchase Christmas gifts. If you are hungry you could stop and the many restaurants open and grab a bite to eat.

We enjoyed visiting all these fun places this year and made more family memories. I cherish making family memories. I recently read spending money on making memories  rather than material things will make you a happier person. This is one way we choose to spend our time with our family.

Please comment with any places you enjoy to visit in Dallas during Christmas.

I really want to visit the Arboretum. The Galleria is definitely one of our favorite places to visit during the holidays!
