A mason jar or glass bowl to melt chocolate

Purchase 3-5 long bananas. The longer the better, since these will be cut in half. I choose to buy organic.
Next peel all of the bananas and cut in half. Insert skewer into each banana half where cut. Then freeze the bananas on a parchment lined pan.
In a heat proof jar or bowl melt the chocolate. I like to use a mason jar in the microwave for 30min then heat for 10 sec increments until all the chocolate is melted. This can also be done with a mason jar in pan of water on the stove. Use the best way you like to melt chocolate.
Dip the frozen bananas into the melted chocolate. I used a small spatula to help get the chocolate all over the bananas. Working quickly add toppings, the chocolate starts to set up fast. Add sprinkles, coconut or nuts. Whatever toppings you wish.
