1 1/2cupsmilk of choicecan substitute coconut water or water
2cupsfresh spinach
1ripe chopped pear
1mandarin orange
1teaspoonfreshly grated ginger
1tablespoonchia seeds
1scoop protein powder
Honey to tasteoptional
Instructions
First gather all and prepare all the ingredients needed for the smoothie. Wash and dry the spinach before use. Peel the mandarin orange. Chop the pear.
Next add the ingredients to the blender of choice. Starting with the chia seed first, then add the spinach and other ingredients up to the fill like on the blender. Top off with the liquid of your choice. I like to let the chia seeds soak for a minute or two on the bottom. This allows them to expand to create a smoothie without a banana or avocado.
