Melt butter in a microwave safe dish. Next add the chopped garlic. Let it sit to let the garlic infuse with the butter, while you prepare the other ingredients.
Cook four pieces of bacon and chop finely.
In a bowl mix the feta cheese, bacon and butter garlic together.
Open an roll out eight count Pillsbury™ crescent rolls and flatten and separate on a lined cookie sheet. I just love the sound of the crescent roll tube popping open. There is something a little magical about it. Place one heaping tablespoon of the mixture on the long edge of the dough.
Then roll them up and shape the rolls into a small crescent shape.
Bake according to directions on package directions, 350° for 9-12 minutes. Take them out when they golden brown.
When these come out of the oven, they are piping hot and so soft and flaky they taste like a little bit of heaven. They smell so good. I was so surprised how quickly these rolls came together. I think this is also a perfect way to use leftover bacon. These rolls are packed full of flavor that will make your taste buds sing!
As we gather around the table, we enjoy not only the food, but also fun times with family. We like to serve traditional items for large gathering such as Thanksgiving, but I also like to add something new. These rolls add just the perfect touch to change up your boring dinner routine.
Keeping old traditions and making new ones as our family continues to grow is something we will cherish for a long time.
What traditions do you have for the holidays with your family?
