January 5, 2016 Amy 13 Comments

I have found the best homemade furniture polish that really works!

I simply make my own homemade cleaning supplies using regular items you can find at the store.

Plus this can save you tons of my making your own cleaning products at home. Who doesn’t love to save money?

I searched around to find a good alternative to the commercial furniture polishes I usually buy.

I love the smell of Purify Essential Oil for furniture polish. It smells just like the store bought stuff. My furniture is polished and clean after using this. Due to the olive oil in this homemade furniture polish, the furniture is dust repellent for a while. The vinegar acts as a disinfectant. I feel better knowing I am using all natural ingredients in my cleaning products. Let me know how you like using this or share this with all your friends.

Making your own cleaning products is beneficial in many ways.

  • Reduces waste
  • No Harmful Chemicals
  • Saves Money

Here is a list of 7 homemade cleaning products you can make at home for way less. Making your own reduces unnecessary waste for the environment, since there is no need to buy a bunch of different bottles of cleaners. Then just throw these bottles away when you are done. Also there are less harmful chemicals you are adding to the environment. I love making my own saves me a ton of money. Most items in cleaners can be purchased in bulk and used in many different ways. Essential oils can be added to create a clean and fresh smell you like.

Yes you can definitely try. Other oils may tend to be a little sticky, so you can try on a small spot before you use on a large piece of furniture.

I was also concerned if water or vinegar would damage wood?

No. You are not using a lot or leaving it on the surface for a long period of time to saturate the wood.
