The anticipation of Santa to come on Christmas night is almost too much to bare for kids. I remember I was going to stay up all night and wait for Santa to come. Probably about 10 minutes later, I was sleeping all snug in my bed. Wondering what he was going to bring me that night. I can only imagine my son’s anticipation this year as he waits for Santa. This year I gave him a little help with a fun letter to Santa printable he can fill out all on his own.
Letter to Santa
With this Santa letter, your child can request something they want, need, wear and something to read for Christmas. I have left a little space at the top to write Santa a personal note. At the bottom, your child can sign their name. This way when they go visit the big guy they have something to have in hand. Download Santa Letter.
Going up and talking to someone you don’t know real well, can be intimidating for some kids. Having their personal letter to Santa ready to go, helps break the ice. Usually they are extremely excited to share what they want with the jolly ‘ole elf. Really good Santa’s like to take a little time to review the letter with the child and talk about it. I also recommend going as early as possible in the season to visit Santa. Lines are shorter and Santa is more patient and has a little more time to talk with your kids.
This is our new tradition this year and I used this with all my kids. Even the teenagers. It gave them something to think about to put in each of those boxes. I can’t wait to keep up this new tradition and build more family memories this holiday. Get more Handmade Christmas ideas on my Pinterest board.
